Dan (94touring) on the RestorationMini forum found some by American Racer in 10" for about $72 per tire.  He said you have to call and order them.  They are not listed on the website, but are in the downloadable catalog.

Hi Derek,

I think there may still be an active MG club in the Houston area.  You might check with some of them about where they take their engines for machine work.

I would think the block/engine still usable unless you have already done a considerable overbore.

Getting new pistons and rings may require some searching, but the last I knew some were still available for the 1071 blocks.  For that sort of research I sometimes would call Jack at Seven Enterprises and discuss options with him.

Any update on the arrival?

Use a customs broker and be sure ALL required paperwork is processed correctly.  There are some forms now that must be submitted to US Customs BEFORE the car is loaded in the UK.

Kind of hard for me to help, ... Mokes don't have doors.

My ignition key is a FS code.  Moke is a 1967 - technically a  MK-II.

The most recent I am aware of was Bruce Kennedy brought one in a few years ago.  You could try sending him a PM through this forum or the RestorationMini forum.

Congratulations on the new job!

I don't know of any MOT members in the Abilene area.

Welcome Brian,

I'm also in San Antonio.  Contact me and perhaps we can arrange getting together to compare notes.

I second Jim's thought about contacting Swiftune.

The NGK BP6ES seems to be the popular choice for street Minis.

Yeah, I was sound asleep at that time.  Best wishes and safe journey.  Call on your way back through if the timing is better.

It should be fairly straight forward to upload the pictures to the media gallery.

- Go to the media section while logged in
- Select "My Albums"
- Create a new album or select an existing album to add to
- Creating a new album will take to a screen with lots of options, I just input a name for the album, chose "ascending" as the sort order, then scroll to the bottom for the button to save the new album
- Once at the album, select "Mass Upload" to upload multiple pictures at the same time.
- Select the photos on your computer
- Select "Upload"
- Review the thumbnails and scroll to the bottom to "submit" them to the album

To link the photos into a post:
- View the photos in the album to get either BBC embedding number or direct link from the photo description/details.  (I use the direct link.)
- Go to the post where you want to insert the picture
- In the post editor, click the "insert image" button to get the image tags, insert the picture number or direct link between the tags.
