It's the 6 blade tropical fan versus the newest version of the 11 blade plastic fan.

Does the 6 blade version really push more air? How do we know?
Does the 6 blade use more horsepower to turn? How much

Presuming that the more air, the better cooled, how much better is the 6 blade fan?

We do know that the plastic fan is quieter. That's a given.

Any research been done?

I have a new 6 blade metal fan sitting in my garage if you'd like to test it.

I have a 6 blade fan in use now. I have a plastic fan on the shelf. Debating which will be better suited.

One thing is that you can push too much air. The radiator can only take a certain maximum velocity before you run into a brick wall.

I run the six blade tropical and in the winter the water temp does not get up to temperature
