As of March 10, 2016, our Mini Owners of Texas website has a new web host and domain registrar.  Thank you for your patience while we migrated everything over from the old host to the new one.  Please feel free to resume posting to the forum

Since day-one, Jim, getting MOT started and keeping it alive has involved a lot of teamwork by a lot of people.  All I did, way back in '98, was to put out a feeler on the International Mini Owners List, asking if anybody in or near the San Antonio area might want to get together while I was home in May of that year.  Several people jumped on the idea and Bruce took the bull by the horns to set up our meeting place at Rooty's in '98 and '99 as well as giving us our name in '99.  Others have jumped in over the years to set up "regional" MOT gatherings in their respective markets or lead the MOT contingent to major shows in places like White Rock Lake and Roundrock.  If it weren't for Michael's efforts, we wouldn't have this forum and would still be stuck with the old, tired, website and email list that I originally set up with Yahoo back in '99 and 2000.  And there are so many others who deserve recognition for their contributions.  Wish I could name them all.  For those who weren't around "back in the day," click on the "About Us" tab above and you can see a whole lot more about the history of MOT.
