After calling both places, it looks like I’m going to take it to BAS. Little bit closer, and they seemed much more excited to really help me understand what is going on with it. I will be at the British car day, it’s an early 21st birthday gift for me! Very excited to meet you hopefully, and As many mini owners as I can.

Hello all,
I’m very happy to be joining you all here, and am excited to keep tabs on this forum and learn many new things. I am the 20yo owner of a 1962 Austin Mini 850 and it is my very first classic, so I have lots to learn.
Unfortunately it’s got a smoking habit right now, and the SU is confusing me beyond belief, so it is going over to KIP or BAS in the near future.
Additionally, if anyone in the North FW area would be interested in allowing me to shadow them a few times to learn some things about these cars. I would be really interested in doing so.
