Hi everyone! It's been a while. I have finally graduated college and done a bit of travelling and now I am finally, finally getting my Mini back together, hopefully in time for TXABCD. The last little bit is replacing the rear brakes and the suspension. It has come to my attention that I need a rubber cone suspension tool to remove the cones, which I am replacing with springs. I see I can buy one for way too much, or rent one from Mini Mania, but I was wondering if anyone had one I could borrow or knew something else I could use.

Thank you and I hope to see everyone in a few weeks!

Where are you located?  I am in Austin and have one.  If you are local, I am willing to loan it to you and offer assistance.

And I have one in north Dallas.

Although, if it's just the rear cones, no compressor needed.

Cheers,

Jim
