I tried to learn how to weld once. Once. I bought a Lincoln Wire Feed welder. Looked at the 8 track tape (it was a long time ago) that came with the welder and went out to the garage to practice and I learned how to blow holes in metal. Then it was recommended that I go to gas welding, so I converted my welder to gas and I mastered the art of burning holes in metal. I gave the welder away. Now if I need something welded I hire a welder. Good luck.
