I've become addicted to Bring a Trailer. I have to check it everyday. I watched the auction on this Mini and was amazed to see it go as high as it did. Nice original Minis do well on BaT.

As a general rule of thumb, Paul, nice original Minis do well on ANY auction.  The key points are that they have to be original all the way around and they have to be in really good condition before they'll pull top dollar.  In most cases, an original car that hasn't been restored, re-sprayed, or had anything else major done to it is going to fetch far more money than an original car that has had any sort of modification or update.  Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule
