Hard to believe it's been 15 years since 2002....  basically my LBC active life ended with the bankruptcy of WorldConnn.   I had different shops for the various technical work then, I suspect some have closed.  The machine shop I relied on for engine work was in Ft Worth.   I don't have the free time to drive that far anymore.

So... who can recommend a competent machine shop for engine work?  The LBCs aren't complicated, but it's nice to know they won't ask if it's from a farm tractor.  The shop in Ft Worth that I took my Spitfire parts to had some bits that owners hadn't collected, so at least they knew the cars.
